Privacy Policy
Effective 27 September 2026
This policy explains what Vant ("vant", "we", "us") collects when you join the vant waitlist at vantdaily.com, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
vant is a waitlist today. We are not selling anything yet, we do not take payment, and we do not ask for an address, a phone number or a date of birth. If that changes, this policy changes with it and we will say so before the change takes effect.
The waitlist is open to residents of the United States who are 18 or older.
1. What we collect
You give us:
| What | When | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | When you join the waitlist | Yes |
| Your answer to "Which of the following do you tend to have in the morning?" | After you join, if you answer | No |
| Your postal address | Only if you earn a mailed reward and we ask for it | Only then |
We generate:
- A referral code, and a count of how many people joined using it. The code identifies your place in the program. It is not derived from your email and it does not carry your name or address.
- Whether you confirmed your email, and when.
- A founder number, if you reach three confirmed referrals.
- Two random tokens, one sent to you in the confirmation email and one held by your browser so the site can show you your own referral progress. We store only a one-way hash of each, so they cannot be read back out of our database.
We receive automatically: standard server and request data — IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you viewed — logged by our hosting provider for security and to keep the site running.
We also keep a salted one-way hash of your IP address for up to 24 hours, purely to limit how many times the signup form can be used from one connection. We do not store the address itself, and the hash cannot be turned back into one.
We do not collect: payment details, government identifiers, health records, precise location, or any special category of personal data. Do not send us any of these.
2. Why we collect it
- To run the waitlist — to add you, to confirm your email, and to tell you when vant launches.
- To run the referral program — to attribute a signup to the person who referred it, to count confirmed referrals, and to work out which rewards someone has earned. See our Referral Program Terms.
- To prevent abuse — rewards have real cost, so we check for self-referral, duplicate accounts and disposable email domains.
- To improve the product and the page — your answer about what you have in the morning tells us what men already take. It is used in aggregate.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We will not use your email for anything unrelated to vant, and we will not email you about another company's products.
3. Marketing email, and how to stop it
Joining the waitlist is a request to hear from us about vant. We use double opt-in: you are not on the list until you click the link in the confirmation email. Two consequences follow, and the second is the one people care about — a referral does not count for your referrer until you confirm.
Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe and our postal address. Unsubscribing stops marketing email immediately. We may still send you a transactional message — for example, to arrange delivery of a reward you have already earned.
4. Who else processes your data
We use a small number of providers. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
| Provider | Role | Data it sees |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare (Pages) | Serves the website | Request and server logs, IP address |
| Supabase | Stores the waitlist and referral records, and runs the signup and confirmation endpoints | Email, referral code and counts, founder number, stack answer, timestamps, hashed tokens, hashed IP |
| Klaviyo | Sends confirmation and launch email | Email, and how you engage with our emails |
If we add a provider that changes what is collected or where it goes, we will update this table.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have never done so. We may disclose data if the law requires it, to enforce our terms, or to a buyer if the business is sold — in which case this policy travels with it.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The waitlist site is a static page. It sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party analytics or tracking pixels as of 27 September 2026.
We do use your browser's local storage, which is not a cookie and is never sent to another site. Two things are kept there:
- A referral code, if you arrived through someone's link, so the credit survives a page reload. We keep the first code your browser sees and never replace it, so the person who actually introduced you is the one credited.
- Your own member token once you have signed up, so that returning to the page shows you your referral link and how many friends have confirmed, without asking you to log in.
You can clear both at any time in your browser settings. Clearing them does not remove you from the waitlist; it only means the page stops recognising you.
If we add analytics or an advertising pixel, this section will say which, and a consent banner will appear where one is required.
6. How long we keep it
- While you are on the list, and for 24 months after launch or after your last interaction with our email, whichever is later.
- If you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, we remove your record. We keep the minimum needed to honour the unsubscribe — a suppression record so we do not email you again by mistake.
- Referral records are kept as long as the program runs and for 12 months after it ends, so we can settle disputes about who earned what.
7. Your choices and rights
Wherever you live in the United States, you can ask us to:
- See what we hold about you.
- Correct it.
- Delete it.
- Stop emailing you.
Email drinkvant@gmail.com and say which. We will respond within 45 days and will not charge you or treat you differently for asking.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights by statute, including the right to appeal a refusal. To appeal, reply to our response and write "Appeal" in the subject line.
Deleting your record ends any referral credit attached to it, including rewards not yet fulfilled, because the credit is the record. We will say so before we act on a deletion request.
8. Children
The waitlist is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and the product contains caffeine and is not intended for children. If you believe a child has given us their email, write to drinkvant@gmail.com and we will delete it.
9. Where your data is
We are based in the United States and your data is stored and processed there. The waitlist is offered to US residents only. If you are outside the United States, please do not join.
10. Security
We use reputable providers and access the data on a need-to-know basis. The waitlist database cannot be reached from the web at all: the site can only call a short list of server-side endpoints, and those are the only things able to read or write it. The tokens that identify you are stored as one-way hashes rather than as themselves, so a copy of our database would not let anyone confirm an email or read someone's referral progress. No service is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee it. If a breach affects your data we will notify you and any regulator as required by law.
11. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will email you before it takes effect.
